Punx Picnic in Farragut Park!
Come out for the last day of C.L.I.T. Fest! There’s a free show in the park with Defect Defect (PDX), Touch Me Satan (Seattle), Scaphism (PDX), and Broken Water (Oly). It’s b.y.o.b. and starts at 2pm. Music’s gotta be over by 7pm. Head north on Vancouver Ave….the park will be on your left between Lombard and Columbia. The show will be in the shady spot down the hill. Bring a dish to share for a potluck feast!
Punk Rock Flea Market is TODAY!!!
The punk rock flea market is today! Bring a table or a blanket to throw down on the concrete and a crate or two of things to sell/trade. Starts at 4pm. 750 N. Fremont (Fremont & Albina).
Workshops begin at 11:30 today. Accountability 101 will be starting at 11:30. Breaking things and hurting people has been canceled. Sorry, we were excited about it too!
Bands are starting at 5pm sharp today. Don’t miss any of them! The show must be over by 10pm.

If you applied for housing, don’t sweat it! We’ve got you covered. You should be receiving a call this afternoon with your Portland housing contact. If you haven’t gotten a call by evening, let an organizer know at the show tonight. Thanks!

Head south on 21st from Powell. Turn right on Lafayette, right on 20th, left on Pershing, right on 19th, and left onto Franklin.

C.L.I.T. Fest … this weekend!
Tomorrow C.L.I.T. fest kicks off at the Grindzebo!!! Bring an appetite for good food and awesome music. We’ll be bbq-ing around 6pm with chipotle black bean burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs, veggie kebabs, pasta salads, and sweets … meat and vegan options available! Bands start at 7pm.
Workshops will be in the afternoon on Friday and Saturday. You can read descriptions on the Workshop page. Here’s the schedule:
Friday
2:00-3:00 Oppression & Mental Health, LinoCut Relief Printing Part 1
3:30 – 4:30 Doing It Yourself: Masturbation Mixxx with Cucci, Accountability 101
Saturday
11:30 – 12:30 Breaking Things and Hurting People: Practical Self- Defense, LinoCut Relief Printing Part 2
1:00-2:00 Pop that Cucci: Sex Ed, Sex Toys, & Your Sexual Health, Bicycle Basics and Mechanics
Friday and Saturday bands start at 5pm sharp (not punk rock time!!). The show has to be over by 11pm. There will be food, beer, and wine available at the Waterheater til close (veg options!). Bring your cash because they don’t take cards.
Saturday is the Punk Rock Flea Market at the Waterheater! Get there early to get a table or contact Christina at markt4livet (a) hotmail.com. You can also bring your own table or blanket to spread out your records, used punk gear, baked treats, homemade goods, mix tapes, art, etc. The market/swap is free and starts at 4pm. Bands start inside at 5pm.
Sunday is the Punx Picnic and last day of the fest. Bring a dish to share at the potluck. BYOB! You can drink at this event but you can’t sell anything or else we could get a $3,000 fine. Yes, $3,000. Show starts at 2pm and must be over by 7pm.

Punk Rock Flea Market & Record Swap Moved!
The punk rock flea market and record swap is now going to be on the patio at the Waterheater on Saturday, August 14th. It’s free and starts at 4pm. Bands will be playing inside starting at 5pm…all 9!! The show is $8-$12 and everything is ALL AGES. Beer, wine, and tasty food will be available if you want to buy them…cash only.
The market is going to be rad! Bring a crate or two of records, clothes, and other cool things you’ve made to sell or swap. There will be limited table space and chairs so bring a blanket or a table and chairs if you’ll need it. Contact us if you want to table for an organization. We may be able to help you out with a set up.
The flea market had to be moved from the park due so the extremely high costs of permits and daily usage fees. The park show is still happening! Come out to Farragut Park on Sunday, August 15th for the end of fest punx picnic! Broken Water, Scaphism, Defect Defect, and Touch Me Satan are all playing. Bring a dish to share for the potluck feast!

If you’re coming from elsewhere, we’ll get you hooked up with some rad punks here. Fill out the housing forms and we’ll get back to you with contact info for your host or for your out-of-towner.

Childcare, Training & Kids Workshops
Childcare will be provided Friday & Saturday from noon to 10pm (with a break for dinner 5-7pm) and on Sunday at Farragut Park from noon to five.
Participants will receive a pamphlet with childcare providers info, workshop info, & emergency info.
Please contact Kernan at kernanwillis@hotmail.com to let us know if you’re bringing kids and how many! We will then email you a workshop schedule to find out interest levels of kids.
