Breaking Things and Hurting People: Practical Self Defense by Taiga Run
Want to know more about self defense? Tired of watered down self defense classes? Ever had a class that told you not to resist, or not to carry weapons?  There will be none of that here. We are dedicated to teaching only the most practical brutality for all defense situations. We are here to teach you the things you won’t learn in other self defense classes, the things you can’t do in a nice fight. We teach offense as a defense because a broken aggressor is an aggressor no longer.

Oppression and Mental Health: Patriachy and Resistance
Oppression manifests itself in subtle ways as we go about our daily activities: each time someone ignores a smart thing we’ve said, casts a critical glance at our gender presentation or incongruence, or just doesn’t seem to notice when unequal divisions of labor occur.  While our psyches may have developed some defense mechanisms to function within oppressive systems, these tiny moments do have effects on our bodies and our minds -  effects which accumulate over time and can incur long-term damage.  Led by a nurse/herbalist, this workshop traces the path stress takes as it moves throughout our bodies.  The workshop offers positive ways to intervene in these moments, reduce the damage, and build the physical, mental, and collective strength needed to resist oppression.

Doin’ It Yourself: Masturbation Mixxx with Cucci
Get it on! This workshop is designed for dirty gurls and bois, and everyone between and outside. We’ll talk about head 2 toe sexual health, so u can get it poppin’, glidin’ and slippery slidin’. Cum Cum Cum!

Pop that Cucci: Sex Ed, Sex Toys & Your Sexual Health
How can we make “sex positive” education relevant, fun and sexy? Join Cucci as we explore the forgotten art of Doin’ it Yourself: masturbation, assploration, and Cucci-poppin’ toys that will BLOW your MIND.

LinoCut Relief Printing
Learn how to make cool prints by carving designs in linoleum!  This workshop will cover the basics of photocopy transfers, drawing out a design, cutting, and handprinting. There will be two sessions: in the first session you will draw and cut your design and in the second one you will finish cutting and will print your design.

Bicycle Basics and Mechanics
Come get greasy and gritty learning the ins and outs of your bike with Kathy, resident mechanic at City Bikes.  You will find out how to maintain your bike to keep it rockin and rollin around town. All skill levels welcome!

Accountability 101
For Crying Out Loud wants to address sexual assault in radical and/or punk communities. This workshop will focus on the varying and intersecting whys and hows of practicing accountability in our lives and realizing that we have the skills to hold ourselves and each other accountable.
